Position Overview

WOLF is seeking a full-time Senior Field Application Engineer in Technical Sales. This role is remote and reports to the VP of Business Development. You will be instrumental in delivering pre-sales technical support and driving sales growth for WOLF's advanced technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance to prospective clients.
  • Support the sales team during customer conference calls.
  • Manage client relationships throughout the sales cycle.
  • Respond to customer inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Understand end-user applications and their technology needs.
  • Create comprehensive proposals and documentation.
  • Identify potential clients and establish new accounts.
  • Prepare cost estimates by analyzing Bill of Materials (BOM) and related documents.
  • Contribute to CRM and forecasting through pipeline management and data entry.
  • Engage directly with customers at all stages of the sales and account management lifecycle.
  • Represent WOLF at trade shows and conferences to promote our products.
Candidate Profile

To qualify, you should possess over 5 years of proven experience in sales or technical support, ideally within the Embedded Solutions Market, alongside 5 years of engineering experience, with a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as mechanical, electrical, software, or aerospace.

A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.

WOLF is a military and aerospace manufacturer that mandates strict compliance with CGP and ITAR regulations. As a condition of employment, applicants must provide valid documentation demonstrating US citizenship and undergo a police background check.

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Proficient in interpreting datasheets and understanding technical requirements.
  • Adept at troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with XMC, VPX, NVIDIA, OpenVPX, FPGA, AMD, PCIe, GPU, and other relevant standards.
  • Knowledge of SOSA, CMOSS, VICTORY, and similar standards.
  • Established engineering experience in military, defense, or aerospace sectors is an asset.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Established connections within the defense and aerospace industries.
  • Background in graphics is advantageous.
  • Military service, Secret certification, and/or security clearance are considered assets.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
