About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our Accountant Sales team at Melio. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals with Accountants & Bookkeepers. Your primary focus will be on selling Melio's B2B payment tools to help small business owners streamline their back-office operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full-Cycle Sales Management: Own and execute the entire sales process, including prospecting, qualification, product demonstrations, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Consultative Selling: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and position Melio's solutions to address those needs effectively.
  • Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by closing new business and upselling to existing customers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from lead generation to post-sale support.
