Position Summary:

The Director of Program Management is responsible for overseeing and directing all facets of the GeoVisions program experience for both participants and host organizations involved in the BridgeUSA Summer Work Travel exchange program. As the leader of the Program Management department, this role encompasses the on-program support of participants, ensuring satisfaction for both participants and host companies, managing placement networks, and providing program support. This position is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and is tasked with representing GeoVisions to all internal and external stakeholders while promoting a workplace culture aligned with the company's values and mission.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all employment-related functions for direct and indirect reports in collaboration with Human Resources and the Managing Director, including management, staffing plans, hiring, professional development, performance evaluations, and separations.
  • Manage all aspects of on-program support, including after-hours on-call services, oversight of support case resolutions, support case protocols and SOPs, case management tracking, and acting as the senior lead for escalated support issues.
  • Ensure high levels of satisfaction among Host Companies and Participants by delivering a quality program experience and resolving support issues effectively and promptly.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential Host Organizations, working closely with the Strategic Management team.
  • Review and revise Host and Participant agreements, terms and conditions, and other program materials as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Recruitment to ensure successful recruitment for GeoVisions placements across various markets, including distribution strategies, market alignment, and recruitment planning.
  • Empower team members to manage their assigned portfolios effectively, aligning with budgetary goals.
  • Maintain a consistent high quality of placements in conjunction with the Program Managers.
  • Innovate operational processes and programs to support business growth targets and enhance efficiency.
  • Work with the Senior Leadership Team to create the annual budget and strategic plan.
  • Facilitate clear communication internally and externally through team meetings, cross-functional updates, and proactive messaging to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Act as an Alternate Responsible Officer for SEVIS, providing support as needed.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to offer support after regular business hours on an occasional basis.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, compliance matters, and global news to proactively address potential business challenges.
  • Contribute to the GeoVisions Senior Leadership team by assisting in strategy development, providing overall leadership, and acting as a positive brand steward for the organization.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

Required – Minimum:

  • At least five (5) years of experience in cultural exchange programs, admissions, account management, or related fields with progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience effectively managing a team of 2-3 individuals, focusing on their development and accountability.
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal, intercultural, and communication skills, with the ability to work comfortably with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, willing to innovate and support the success of the company and program staff.
  • Proficiency in technology, including MS Office and data analytics/reporting.
  • Good verbal and written proficiency in English, with proficiency in one or more additional languages being highly desirable.
  • A personal interest in travel, experiential learning, and cultural exchange.

Benefits & Compensation:

  • Salary: The expected compensation range for this position is $70,000-$85,000 for full-time employees.

Physical Requirements – Preferred:

  • Ability to manually manipulate and maneuver objects weighing up to five (5) pounds daily, including fine finger, hand, and arm movements involved in using computers and office machinery.
  • Capability to sit and/or stand for 3-4 hours at a time while engaging in office activities.
  • Occasional travel by car or other means to visit Host Employers and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Good vision and hearing, with or without corrective devices, and clear, understandable speech for effective communication.
