Your Team and Your Influence

Marvell Semiconductor is in search of a strategic and seasoned Head of Identity and Access Management (IAM) to spearhead our IAM initiatives and operations. The perfect candidate will possess a robust background in IAM technologies, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure, with a proven ability to foster innovation and efficiency in our swiftly changing technological landscape.

This role will collaborate with various organizational business units, overseeing the planning, development, delivery, and support of the IAM program. The Head of IAM will provide strategic direction and guidance on the development, specifications, and communication of IAM processes, governance, platforms, and architecture, while also offering in-depth consultation to business units and IT management to assist in formulating plans for integrating information security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and operations of the IAM team, processes, architecture, and technologies.
  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive IAM strategy that aligns with Marvell Semiconductor's business goals and security needs.
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert on all IAM domains, including identity governance and administration (IGA), access and authorization, privileged access management, and identity verification for various platforms.
  • Manage the lifecycle of IAM technologies in coordination with Infrastructure and Application teams.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the performance and efficiency of the IAM program while minimizing costs.
  • Acquire and manage resources necessary to support all IAM functions, including leadership backing, financial resources, and key security personnel.
  • Lead and nurture the IAM team, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of IAM solutions across multiple platforms, ensuring seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in IAM, including AI and machine learning, to drive innovation within the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IAM best practices are integrated into all relevant IT projects.
  • Develop and maintain IAM policies, procedures, and standards in compliance with industry regulations.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to IAM technologies and services.
  • Provide regular updates and presentations to senior management regarding IAM performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Conduct IAM-related risk assessments and audits, implementing necessary controls and remediation measures.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role focused on Identity and Access Management.
  • Extensive knowledge of IAM technologies, including Okta, Active Directory/Microsoft Entra, and other leading IAM solutions.
  • Strong understanding of IAM principles, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Experience in implementing and managing IAM solutions across diverse platforms in both on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles as they relate to IAM.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills with a history of successful large-scale IAM implementations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

  • Relevant industry certifications.
  • Experience with identity governance and administration (IGA) solutions.
  • Knowledge of privileged access management (PAM) tools.
  • Understanding of AI developments and their implications for IAM.
  • Experience with data classification and governance frameworks.
  • Background in financial analysis and budget management for IT projects.
  • Familiarity with advanced IAM solutions.
  • Awareness of emerging trends in IAM.
