Position Overview:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse - Regional Support to deliver nursing services across our North Texas market. This full-time, permanent role involves supporting our branches for periods typically ranging from 13 to 26 weeks. The position is supervised by the AVP of Operations and entails temporary assignments in branches experiencing staffing shortages or increased patient census.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care to hospice patients while providing essential support to their families.
- Oversee an interdisciplinary team, including Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, to enhance the quality of hospice services.
- Manage clinical records for all assigned patients, ensuring comprehensive case management.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
- At least one year of experience in oncology, long-term care, hospice, or home health; internships and clinical hours may be considered in specific cases.
- Exhibit compassion, kindness, and empathy towards patients and their families.
