The Transportation Technology team at Amazon is dedicated to creating sophisticated software solutions that seamlessly integrate with our vendors, warehouses, and carriers to enhance both the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of package delivery.
Our systems currently manage thousands of requests every second, influencing business decisions that affect billions of dollars annually. They connect with a diverse network of carriers, owner-operators, and drivers globally, manage intricate business rules for millions of unique products, and enhance the ordering and delivery experience for countless online shoppers.

Your Role
As a vital member of this team, you will collaborate with executive leaders, engineering teams, scientific experts, and operational stakeholders to enhance processes, generate innovative ideas, validate concepts, and pave the way for production.
You will be responsible for defining product strategy, crafting the product development roadmap, and ensuring successful execution. In this dynamic environment, you will lead both strategically and tactically, diving deep into business and technical domains.
Key Responsibilities
1. Take full ownership of requirements gathering, documentation, planning, and implementing cost-effective solutions for Amazon's transportation network.
2. Foster communication and collaboration across multiple teams in operations, technology, and planning to define strategic roadmaps while considering the impact on all stakeholders.
3. Create and implement data-driven enhancements to Amazon's transportation network, delivering flexible and efficient products for our customers.
4. Design and establish feedback mechanisms to drive performance and cost improvements in processes.
5. Conduct in-depth analyses and root-cause investigations using data, developing metrics-driven, actionable, and sustainable solutions for the future.
6. Monitor key performance indicators across various nodes and analyze their drivers to determine the necessary level and type of engagement based on customer experience risks and technology utilization.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology.
- 7+ years of experience blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives focused on process creation, standardization, and improvement.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience in owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery and feature delivery, including trade-offs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in owning technology products.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across various US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is determined by several factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be included as part of a total compensation package, alongside a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
