Position Overview:
A dedicated Private Advisor team within our Rockefeller Global Family Office is looking for a proactive individual to fill the role of Client Associate. This position involves collaborating closely with our Private Advisor team members and engaging directly with high-net-worth clients, although it is important to note that this role will not involve direct client interaction for the first year. The ideal candidate will embody the essence of the practice, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail, exceptional communication, organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities, and a strong desire for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate account opening and ongoing maintenance.
  • Manage asset transfers and monetary transactions.
  • Complete investment subscription documentation.
  • Oversee cash management and Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs).
  • Assist clients with online access to their accounts.
  • Address inquiries regarding account activity and statements.
  • Manage client life events.
  • Perform administrative tasks as required.
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients while managing the administration of client accounts.
  • Handle operational responsibilities for client accounts, including reporting on holdings and investment performance, processing daily cash activities, and executing trade instructions.
  • Generate expense reports for submission.
  • Process new accounts and maintain existing ones, ensuring all necessary approvals and documentation are complete.
  • Handle all client cashiering requests, including money market redemptions, wires, checks, and deposits.
  • Support marketing initiatives by promoting client seminars and events.
  • Provide administrative and office management assistance to the team.
  • Prepare client correspondence, securing necessary management approvals.
  • Review daily activities and reconcile client transactions against various clearing firm systems for accuracy.
  • Oversee processes related to client insurance and annuities.
  • Assist in the preparation of key documents, presentations, and reports for client meetings.
  • Attend client meetings as needed and present performance updates.
  • Maintain organized client files and complete necessary filing.
  • Participate in compliance and continuing education training as mandated by regulatory agencies and the firm.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of prior client service experience in the financial sector or equivalent experience.
  • Possession of Series 7 and 66 licenses is required.
  • A BA/BS degree is necessary.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and client service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage workflow effectively.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment while managing multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with eMoney financial planning software is a plus.

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000. The final salary will depend on various factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may vary from the stated range. This role may also be eligible for additional variable compensation programs.
