Company Overview:

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager who possesses a robust background in managing complex civil engineering initiatives, including bridge construction, asphalt paving, underground utilities, and wastewater management.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in overseeing civil construction projects with a strong history of achieving successful results.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficient in project scheduling, cost management, and interpreting project specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and commitment to project completion.
  • Exhibits keen attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies.
  • Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that project financial goals are met or exceeded by supervising and evaluating each phase of development.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with superintendents and project engineers to strategize on methods, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee all field operations and coordinate work sequences in partnership with the Project Manager.
  • Analyze project estimates to determine job costs, operational procedures, staffing needs, and resource distribution across project phases.
  • Manage and approve monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow forecasts, as well as review and negotiate change orders.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary ranging from $130,000 to $155,000, commensurate with experience.
