Candidate Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in overseeing civil construction projects with a demonstrated history of successful project completions.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficient in project scheduling, cost management, and interpreting project specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong commitment to quality and project completion.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that projects achieve or surpass financial targets by monitoring and managing each phase of development.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with superintendents and project engineers to establish methods, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee field operations and coordinate work sequences in partnership with the Project Manager.
  • Analyze project estimates to assess job costs, methodologies, staffing needs, and resource distribution.
  • Approve monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow forecasts, as well as review and negotiate change orders.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $130,000 to $155,000, commensurate with experience.
