Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented File Clerk to join our team at Hendrick Automotive Group. As a File Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring efficient file management, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • File Management: Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and documents in a secure and accessible manner.
  • Record Retrieval: Search for and retrieve information contained in files as requested by team members and management.
  • File Maintenance: Ensure files are current, complete, and easily accessible.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of material removed from files and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Previous office or administrative experience desired; strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  • Skills: Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office; excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Valid driver's license required.
Work Environment

This position requires regular and predictable attendance, with scheduled shifts including evening hours, weekends, and some holidays. The work environment is primarily office-based, with frequent interactions with employees, management, and outside vendors.
