Senior Accountant - SEC Compliance, Technical Accounting & Financial Consolidation
  • The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant position should possess a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in SEC reporting and hold a CPA license from a recognized national CPA firm.
  • A CPA qualification from public accounting is essential for consideration.
  • This role involves assisting in the coordination, management, and reporting of the organization's financials to the SEC, which includes the preparation of 10-Ks, 10-Qs, Earnings Press Releases, and Statements of Change.
  • Responsibilities include financial statement consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and handling foreign currency exchange rates and translations.
  • Prepare detailed footnotes and Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) comments.
  • Conduct technical GAAP research, interpretation, and application.
  • Engage in complex accounting research and special projects.
  • Involvement in derivative accounting, investment accounting, pension, and stock-related accounting will also be required.
  • Prepare cash flow statements as part of the financial reporting process.
  • Collaborate with the executive management team and CPA firm to provide audit support.
  • Additional responsibilities include internal financial reporting, coordination of external audits, and ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley documentation.
  • This position offers high-level exposure and the opportunity to work closely with senior executives.
