Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of ASC 740 quarterly and annual tax provisions.
  • Oversee the management of various tax-related schedules for the global income tax provision.
  • Maintain comprehensive internal control documentation within a SOX framework.
  • Prepare diverse income tax disclosures for SEC reporting.
  • Develop tax depreciation and amortization schedules.
  • Review stock compensation schedules to ascertain correct treatment in tax provision modeling.
  • Forecast effective tax rates accurately.
  • Conduct reviews of quarterly general ledger tax account reconciliations and tax accrual account analyses.
  • Research and resolve tax-related inquiries and issues.
  • Propose and implement strategies to enhance processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential.
  • 2-4 years of experience in ASC 740 Tax Provisions.
  • Recent involvement with Tax Provisions is required.
  • Experience with a Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting firm is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong research capabilities.
  • Experience in the corporate tax department of a large multinational corporation is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • General understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a fast-paced workload.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Team collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and web browsers.
