The successful candidate will possess a robust accounting background, ideally with experience in the consumer goods or retail industries.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Compile and evaluate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Guarantee compliance with GAAP and organizational policies.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of accounts.
  • Oversee and review general ledger entries, ensuring accurate transaction recording.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor relations and customer billing.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, performing variance analysis as needed.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entry preparation and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation for audit evaluations.
  • Monitor adherence to internal controls and company policies.
  • Deliver financial insights and recommendations to aid in strategic business decisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, particularly in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Experience in the consumer goods or retail sector is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems) and advanced skills in Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
