Senior Project Accountant (Hybrid):
  • Prepare general ledger entries for construction initiatives and corporate financial transactions.
  • Distribute indirect expenses to specific project accounts.
  • Analyze project profit margins on a monthly and quarterly basis, identifying discrepancies.
  • Compile and assess job cost reconciliations and execute closing journal entries.
  • Oversee monthly account reconciliations.
  • Generate monthly GAAP-compliant financial statements along with supporting schedules.
  • Provide supplementary financial documentation for monthly reporting packages.
  • Track monthly fees, trailing costs, participation fees, marketing expenses, and other recurring transactions.
  • Administer other regular payments, including insurance premiums, special check requests, and property tax obligations.
  • Prepare quarterly amortization schedules for prepaids and depreciation schedules for fixed assets.
  • Compile and submit monthly loan and construction draw requests.
  • Support management during internal and external audits.
  • Assist with accounting for joint ventures, including capital calls and distributions.
  • Contribute to general accounting operations.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

Experience:
  • Preferred experience with financial statements.
  • Minimum of 5 years in accounting roles.
  • Prior experience in the real estate construction sector is mandatory.
