Role Overview:
As a Quality Engineer, you will report directly to the Quality Manager and work closely with process engineers and production teams. Your daily responsibilities will include:
  • Upholding quality assurance standards within your designated area.
  • Leading root cause analysis initiatives and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborating with production and engineering teams to enhance quality standards.
  • Gathering necessary documentation to support the PPAP process.
  • Coaching and mentoring quality staff to foster a culture of excellence.
  • Addressing customer quality concerns and maintaining open communication.
  • Conducting internal quality audits to ensure compliance.
  • Creating and updating control plans and FMEA documentation.
  • Monitoring new product launches and event trials.
  • Facilitating quality training sessions.
  • Presenting quality metrics and results to management regularly.

This position requires hands-on involvement on the manufacturing floor, dedicating up to 50% of your time to quality line support and project oversight. You will engage with production staff daily, driving quality initiatives and fostering a collaborative environment.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or relevant manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in fast-paced production settings.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis.
  • A desire to grow and develop as a Quality Engineer.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.

Preferred Skills:
While not mandatory, the following skills are advantageous:
  • Experience in customer communication.
  • Background in machining or assembly.
  • Familiarity with 5P or 8D problem-solving methodologies.
  • Experience in creating control plans and FMEAs.
  • Knowledge of PPAP documentation and corrective action processes.
  • Experience with formal problem-solving and internal audits.
