The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience within the automotive industry, demonstrating a technical aptitude and the capability to independently identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Discover and cultivate new business development opportunities while building relationships with potential clients in the designated sales area.
- Engage with customers regarding product inquiries, quality assurance, and any related issues.
- Collaborate with sales teams and clients to conduct market analysis, product planning, and assess expected demand.
- Prepare and present product proposals effectively.
- Generate price quotations, negotiate costs with clients, secure orders, and monitor tracking and delivery.
- Travel for business purposes as needed (approximately 2-3 times per month).
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in sales or account management within an automotive manufacturing context is preferred.
- Familiarity with engineering or related industries and their manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a multicultural setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills.
While fulfilling the responsibilities of this position, candidates may be required to sit, stand, walk, lift items up to 25 pounds, and perform various physical activities. Visual acuity, including close and distance vision, is also necessary.
