Project Controls Manager


Lifecycle Management LLC is a comprehensive Design-Build organization focused on delivering sustainable design and construction solutions for governmental entities nationwide.

Our operational model emphasizes the provision of exceptional services to our clients, executing design-build and general construction projects on both national and international scales.


Position Overview:
The Project Controls Manager plays a crucial role in the planning, monitoring, and management of all project timelines to support operational efficiency.


This position collaborates closely with the Project Manager for each assignment and the Vice President of Operations to create proposals, establish baseline schedules, and track progress throughout the project lifecycle.

Additionally, the role involves assisting with change management processes to assess time impacts, preparing schedule-related documentation for invoicing, and providing support in utilizing Procore construction management software for scheduling tasks.


Key Responsibilities:


- Develop and coordinate the scheduling of project administration, subcontractor procurement, submittals, production, and testing/commissioning activities to create proposals, baseline schedules, and regular progress updates using Primavera P6 Professional.

- Collaborate with project teams to ensure comprehensive scope definition and appropriate sequencing of construction activities for each project.

- Generate production reports that clearly outline the status of each project, particularly focusing on critical path requirements and potential delays.

- Offer recommendations to project teams regarding resource allocation and scheduling of upcoming construction activities to adhere to timelines.

- Prepare formal documentation packages for monthly progress updates, including necessary reports, diagrams, and narratives as stipulated by contract requirements or Lifecycle Management standards.


Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering-related fields, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction sector.
- Proficient in project scheduling with a strong background in Primavera P6 Professional.
- Experience with cost-loaded resource schedules in Primavera P6 Professional.
- Familiarity with federal construction projects ranging from $1 million to $25 million.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to interpret construction blueprints and contract specifications.
- Strong proficiency in computer applications, including all Microsoft Office tools.
- Effective communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Capability to convey information clearly and efficiently, both verbally and in writing.
- Highly organized with excellent time management abilities.

We particularly value candidates with experience in Procore cloud-based construction management software and the Resident Management System (RMS) for the U.S. Army Corps.
