About the Role

Around the Clock Services is actively seeking Retail Assembly Specialists. You will be working with various retail chains, assembling products such as outdoor furniture and gas grills. After training, there may be opportunities to work with major clients.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in assembly roles
  • Technical proficiency and ability to interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Strong understanding of quality control practices
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical fitness
  • Advanced knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to 80lbs regularly)
  • Capability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Must be able to stand, squat, and bend for extended periods
  • Ability to follow assembly instructions precisely
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to meet productivity goals
  • Problem-solving skills for unforeseen challenges during assembly
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

Technical knowledge and manual dexterity are essential. The ability to follow instructions from manuals and schematics with precision is crucial.

Work Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Reliable transportation is necessary
  • Access to a working mobile phone
  • Internet access is required
  • Availability to work during specified hours
  • Valid identification is mandatory
  • Flexible availability, including weekends if needed

Tool Requirements

  • Impact drill with at least two batteries
  • Assorted drill bits and adapters
  • Basic hand tools, including screwdrivers and wrenches
  • Smartphone or smart device with internet access

This position operates on a piecework basis, where compensation is based on the number of items assembled. The pay rate varies according to the complexity of the items. The more efficiently you work, the higher your earnings potential.

Note: This role involves traveling between various locations. Once fully trained, you will be working at different customer sites. Travel requirements and scheduling may vary.
