As a Technician at Commonwealth Vector Control, you will implement effective solutions for mosquito management and pest control across various properties. Our specialists are committed to delivering exceptional service in a courteous and efficient manner. If you have a passion for client satisfaction and enjoy hands-on work, this position is ideal for you.

No prior experience is necessary You will receive comprehensive PAID training upon joining our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage fully in training sessions to enhance skills and fulfill licensing requirements.
  • Adhere to safety protocols in compliance with state regulations and OSHA standards, utilizing necessary safety gear during tasks.
  • Utilize a backpack blower (up to 60 pounds) in varying weather conditions and terrains.
  • Address basic customer inquiries and relay any issues to the office for prompt resolution.
  • Accurately complete job documentation in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate weekly duties, including potential weekend hours.
  • Ensure the company vehicle is clean and operate it safely.
  • Drive to client locations to deliver services in a professional and friendly manner.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License with a strong driving record.
  • Basic understanding of mosquito and pest control preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Physical capabilities to stand, walk, climb, carry, bend, kneel, reach, and push, including the ability to carry a 60lb Backpack Fogger.
  • Availability for extended hours and weekends as needed.

Additional Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check.
