Job Summary:

M.C. Dean is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and scheduling crews to complete assigned work orders, ensuring high-quality installations and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule crews to meet daily productivity benchmarks, ensuring efficient use of resources and materials.
  • Organize and manage material phasing, tools, and equipment, maintaining accurate inventories and tracking usage.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with codes, contractual obligations, and best practices.
  • Monitor and report on crew performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with site teams to ensure seamless project execution, participating in quality reviews and providing feedback on installation quality scorecards.
  • Maintain accurate as-built drawings, updating records and logging changes as necessary.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained, inspected, and accounted for, submitting daily equipment inspection sheets and lost/stolen/damage reports.
  • Participate in QAQC design reviews, identifying constructability issues and providing feedback on quality-related matters.
  • Support the site team in accident/incident reporting and investigation, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • 8-9 years of experience in the electrical industry, with a High School diploma or GED.
  • Journeyman/Master Electrician license required.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to lift at least 100 pounds, relocate a 12-foot stepladder, and work at heights up to 60 feet.
  • Good vision, color perception, and ability to hear and communicate in English.

Physical Abilities:

  • Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period.
  • Relocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
  • Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders.
  • Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls, and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
  • Possesses good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Journeyman/Master Electrician license required.
