Patient Care Coordinator

**Job Summary**
The Healthcare Support Specialist role is a non-licensed healthcare employee who performs delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks and duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). These duties may include, but are not limited to, vital signs, basic patient care, and transportation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks and duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Respond appropriately to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs based on the scope of service of the unit/department where assigned.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
**Requirements:**
- Graduate of any accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program or Nursing Assistant program, or equivalent education/experience.
- Completion of 2nd semester of accredited Nursing Program.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- 1 year HHA experience.
