Position Overview:
Nursing Assistant - Join our dedicated team at Providence, where we prioritize patient care and support. This role involves working as a Nursing Float at our healthcare facility, providing essential support during both day and night shifts.


Role Responsibilities:
The Nursing Assistant (NA) is a vital member of our healthcare team, assisting with routine patient care tasks under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN). Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring vital signs and performing EKGs.
  • Providing basic patient care and assistance with transportation.
  • Responding to the needs of patients and their families with an understanding of age-specific requirements.


Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program or equivalent experience.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.


Preferred Experience:
We value candidates with at least one year of experience as a Nurse Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant in a hospital or similar environment.
