Location/Division Specific Information

Our PPD Laboratory Services team plays a crucial role in enhancing patient health through the expertise of scientists, industry leaders, and therapeutic specialists. As the foremost entity in serving science, our laboratory professionals are dedicated to accuracy and quality, driving groundbreaking innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

The Clinical Research Group at Thermo Fisher Scientific is on the lookout for a Senior Project Manager for Business Integration to spearhead internal initiatives that bolster the integrated CRO+CDMO capabilities (PSG/CRG) aimed at achieving consistent growth and advancing revenue year after year. This role requires collaboration with essential stakeholders to devise and implement strategies that facilitate joint business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a robust leader with exceptional communication, organizational change, influencing, project management, and presentation skills.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish and execute initiatives that support the annual joint-selling objectives across PSG/CRG.
  • Oversee and manage internal workstreams aligned with the global implementation of Integrated CRO + CDMO capabilities.
  • Foster clarity and alignment across the network while ensuring accountability to meet objectives.
  • Lead organizational transformations.
  • Acquire and allocate necessary project resources.
  • Develop project schedules and timelines.
  • Monitor compliance with established schedules.
  • Identify, address, and escalate risks as necessary.
  • Provide support and direction to the team.
  • Track and report key metrics, conduct monthly/quarterly reporting, and lead governance review forums.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline.
  • PMP certification is mandatory.
  • Prosci certification is preferred.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 4+ years in a highly regulated sector (pharmaceutical, food, aerospace, automotive).
  • At least 6+ years in project management, with 2+ years in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Previous project experience across various business units/divisions.

In certain instances, a combination of relevant education, training, and/or directly related experience may be deemed sufficient for an individual to meet the role's requirements.

  • Ability to overcome challenges and achieve significant outcomes, ensuring follow-through to accomplish objectives.
  • Competence in achieving alignment across priorities and simplifying complex issues with a clear roadmap and vision.
  • Highly self-motivated, capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously to meet stringent deadlines.
  • Proactively manage assigned initiatives to ensure goals are met within the plan and with minimal direction.
