We are currently seeking a Client Care Coordinator (Scheduler) to join our team. Ideal candidates will possess a strong passion for caregiving, with prior experience in both scheduling and caregiving being advantageous.

The primary responsibilities will include in-office tasks as well as caregiving duties and on-call scheduling.

JOB SUMMARY: The Client Care Coordinator is responsible for scheduling, human resources tasks, and various office duties, while also providing caregiving services in the field as necessary.

This role includes conducting assessments (intakes) for new clients in their homes and performing regular supervisory visits as required. Responsibilities also involve adjusting care plans, maintaining medication records, and assigning caregivers to clients. The Coordinator will manage incoming calls and be available for weekend and after-hours calls as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Exceptional telephone communication skills are required. Assists with scheduling responsibilities as directed by supervisors.

Experience with Wellsys (ClearCare) software is preferred. Provides personal care and supportive services to clients in the field as necessary.

Participates in a rotation for weekend scheduling and backup caregiving, including potential weeknight duties.

Assists with recruitment efforts, such as tracking incoming calls, coordinating training, and onboarding new hires.
Supports the hiring manager in verifying work references.
Manages incoming and outgoing mail.
Prepares new hire documentation, client care record books, and informational packets.
Maintains office supply inventory and places orders as needed.
Handles deposits for Accounts Payable and assists with general bookkeeping tasks.

Prepares medication administration records (MARs) for clients and communicates with healthcare providers as necessary.
EDUCATION / SKILLS / ABILITIES / AVAILABILITY: High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years of business experience. Proficient office and computer skills, along with strong organizational abilities.

Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette are essential.
Familiarity with common medical terminology is preferred.
Able to work independently while demonstrating sound judgment.
Prior experience as a caregiver is required.
Previous scheduling experience is preferred.
Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Primarily office-based, with responsibilities in the field for caregiving and client services as required.
