The Account Manager plays a crucial role within our Client Services department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee new accounts and opportunities introduced by Account Executives.
- Act as the primary liaison for clients during active projects.
- Assign tasks to the support team to ensure project scope and timelines are met.
- Coordinate internal activities related to assigned accounts.
- Conduct regular follow-ups on job order progress and address any issues.
- Deliver contract modifications and quotes to Account Executives for client communication.
- Maintain proactive communication with all relevant departments.
- Lead a team of 3-4 members, including Project Coordinators, Planners, and Detailers.
- Provide mentorship to Project Coordinators.
Work Environment:
The Account Manager operates from our corporate headquarters and typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule. Additional hours and occasional travel may be necessary based on business requirements.
Essential Duties:
- Review project proposals and define project scopes.
- Establish budgets and timelines for each project phase.
- Maintain project timelines and collaborate with Account Executives.
- Work with project staff to outline work plans.
- Produce and distribute schedules to all relevant parties.
- Direct and coordinate project personnel activities.
- Assess project progress with the Client Services team and discuss necessary changes.
- Coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Review quotes and project details for accuracy.
- Prepare account reports for management and document project details.
- Travel for client meetings may be required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in project management or a related area.
