Food Industry Sales Director

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Food Industry Sales Director to join our team at US Foods. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving new account sales and revenue growth within your assigned area.
Main Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell products, services, and solutions to potential customers through our Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) partner programs.
- Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities, aligning with our organizational growth objectives.
- Work closely with our RVP National Sales and Area VP, National Sales to track and monitor pipeline and Business Development opportunities, ensuring successful sales cycles.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, Merchandising, and Logistics, to drive value proposition and onboarding of customers.
- Attend training sessions and stay up-to-date on sales processes, techniques, and GPO program documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum 7 years of success in selling new accounts or increasing penetration of existing accounts, preferably in the foodservice industry.
- Prior experience working with intermediaries and managing complex sales relationships is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and achieving sales goals.
