Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth in the lumber industry.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily sales operations and manage sales teams in Georgia and Alabama markets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the tract/production builder sector.
  • Create and manage sales budgets to achieve quarterly and annual targets.
  • Inspire sales teams to meet objectives and exceed performance expectations.
  • Maintain market intelligence and competitor activity monitoring.
  • Present detailed sales forecasts to stakeholders.
  • Analyze customer behavior and enhance satisfaction through data-driven insights.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience as an Area Sales Manager or similar role in the building materials industry with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience selling into the production builder market required, with a background in lumber sales and operations desirable.
  • Profound understanding of sales strategies, motivational techniques for employees, and familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Thorough knowledge of company products and competitors' offerings in the lumber and building materials sector.
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Effective strategic planning, organizational, and innovative thinking abilities.
