Your Role
We are seeking a Strategic Sales Executive to spearhead our enterprise sales initiatives. This position is integral to our growth strategy, focusing on enterprise sales and lead generation within the scientific and research sectors. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering or science, transitioning into a sales role, and will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the Enterprise Sales Director to formulate a comprehensive sales strategy for designated regions;
  • Proactively identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities to expand the existing pipeline;
  • Qualifying leads generated from various sources, including digital platforms and industry events;
  • Delivering compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to secure business opportunities;
  • Crafting and presenting tailored proposals to meet client needs;
  • Utilizing negotiation skills to navigate the sales process effectively;
  • Preparing necessary contracts and documentation for successful closure;
  • Maintaining accurate records and updates within the CRM system;
  • Providing regular sales updates to the commercial team;
  • Engaging with internal teams to align on customer feedback and outcomes;
  • Representing the company at industry events and conferences, as required.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess:

  • A self-driven approach with strong decision-making capabilities;
  • A background in engineering or scientific disciplines, ideally with experience in SaaS or solution-based sales;
  • A proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets;
  • Expertise in lead generation and managing sales pipelines from prospecting to closure;
  • Experience in building and nurturing complex customer relationships;
  • Familiarity with CRM software, preferably Salesforce;
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly;
  • A curious mindset, capable of understanding customer needs to deliver effective solutions;
  • Strong organizational and project management skills;
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, such as Docker, is a plus;
  • Availability to work during core business hours.
