Position Overview:
The role of the Peripheral Vascular Specialist demands a strong clinical background and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment. At Boston Scientific, our innovative products and technologies are designed to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions affecting the arterial and venous systems, including deep vein thrombosis, post-thrombotic syndrome, pulmonary embolism, and compressive diseases. Our extensive range of solutions includes: Angiojet, Zelante DVT, thrombectomy catheter, EKOS, Peripheral guide wires, drug-eluting stents and balloons, atherectomy, and IVUS. Your Key Responsibilities:

• Drive product sales by scheduling and conducting meetings with current and prospective clients to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and unit growth objectives.

• Formulate and execute sales strategies by analyzing critical factors (e.g., product offerings, competitive landscape, pricing) to effectively promote our products to relevant hospital staff and physicians.

• Create actionable plans (weekly, quarterly, monthly) by reviewing sales data and reports to identify account needs and collaborating with the Regional Sales Manager to meet annual sales targets.

• Assess the requirements (e.g., product and pricing), objectives, product usage, and case types managed by specific clients through in-depth discussions with physicians and hospital staff to determine how our products can best meet their needs.

• Observe procedures in hospital labs and operating rooms to gain insights into the unique preferences of each physician and lab team member.

• Establish competitive pricing packages by collaborating with relevant Boston Scientific personnel to develop pricing strategies that meet customer needs while adhering to company policies.

• Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding products and services by devising innovative and practical solutions or coordinating with other departments (e.g., clinical research, pricing, marketing) to create optimal resolutions.

• Cultivate relationships with hospital personnel through networking, meetings, and participation in conferences to identify key decision-makers for future sales opportunities.

• Oversee clinical procedures across various territories.

• Educate clients on the advantages and proper clinical application of our products through presentations and demonstrations utilizing diverse formats (e.g., slides, manuals) to secure purchasing commitments, often supported by incentive programs.

Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
⦁ A minimum of 5 years of experience or a combination of relevant sales and educational background.
⦁ At least 2 years of prior experience in medical device sales.

Preferred Qualifications:

⦁ A four-year degree with a focus on sales and a proven record of success will enhance your ability to thrive in this collaborative sales environment within the radiology lab and among our physicians.
⦁ Strong clinical, analytical, and sales skills.
⦁ Proven ability to manage a substantial number of accounts effectively.
⦁ Problem-solving capabilities and the willingness to be coached and guided by team members will foster collaboration and success in promoting our venous and arterial product portfolio.
