Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead industrial sales initiatives, supported by a knowledgeable sales team.
  • Develop and maintain strong, profitable relationships with clients while representing the company's professional image.
  • Conduct regular meetings with management to assess performance metrics and sales deliverables.
  • Travel within the designated territory to manage accounts and foster client relationships.
  • Prepare for client visits through opportunity qualification and strategic planning.
  • Effectively manage personal schedule and time to maximize productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the wholesale distribution sector.
  • Proven track record in external sales roles, ideally with at least 5 years of direct experience.
  • Experience in instrumentation is a valuable asset.
  • Demonstrated success in converting leads and closing sales while meeting established quotas.
  • Strong understanding of wholesale sales principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of financial management, including cost analysis and budgeting.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently are essential.
