Position Objective


We are in search of a motivated and energetic Medical Imaging Sales Specialist to advocate for Stryker's premier point of care imaging solutions, aligning with the company's mission to improve the lives of patients and their caregivers.


The primary goal of this role is to facilitate the acquisition of SPY technology and enhance its application in collaboration with Core Endoscopy Sales Representatives.

Target clientele includes Operating Room personnel, various surgical specialties, and hospital management.

We seek candidates eager to elevate their careers and maximize their earning potential by driving procedure volume for a groundbreaking fluorescence imaging technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promotes and sells the Spy fluorescence imaging system to hospital customers to meet sales objectives.
  • Educates and informs medical professionals about the proper usage and maintenance of SPY technology across various surgical specialties.
  • Becomes a clinical authority on all imaging platforms, procedures, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Oversees product evaluations in both OR and office environments.
  • Builds strong partnerships with Core Endoscopy Sales Representatives in the designated region and demonstrates effective collaboration.
  • May assist in organizing and executing trade shows, conventions, and clinical meetings.
  • Keeps the Regional Manager updated on territory progress regularly.
  • Addresses product-related issues for customers promptly.
  • May contribute to the training and development of sales personnel.
  • Markets DermACELL advanced decellularized dermis in hospitals for various reconstructive uses.
  • Regular tasks include OR in-servicing, formal/informal presentations, case proctoring, overcoming clinical objections, and lead identification/follow-up.
  • Collaborates with the MedEd team to enhance customer and representative clinical education and awareness.
Education and Experience Requirements

  • 1-5 years of sales experience with a proven success record; medical sales experience is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Operating Room environment is advantageous.
  • Exceptional clinical selling skills and the ability to establish credibility with surgeons, OR staff, and hospital administration.
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and identify new business opportunities.
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent of five (5) years of commercial sales experience or medical field experience, including operating room exposure.
  • Travel may be required based on territory coverage needs (>50%).
