The Territory Sales Specialist serves as a vital representative of Advanced Nutrients, engaging with designated retailers. Their proficiency in establishing connections and fostering mutually beneficial partnerships makes them integral to the organization.
This role necessitates considerable travel across various retail locations within the assigned territory to enhance brand visibility and drive sales growth for Advanced Nutrients.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Achieving and surpassing designated sales targets within the territory, with performance assessments conducted weekly with management.
- Actively seeking new business opportunities in the gardening, hydroponics, or consumer goods industries.
- Ensuring timely follow-up on all communications related to onboarding new accounts.
- Addressing and resolving any outstanding client accounts receivable issues.
Building strong business relationships through consistent client engagement by visiting all clients regularly during standard business hours; weekend visits may be necessary, especially during peak seasons.
- Treating clients with respect and viewing them as long-term partners in mutual growth.- Identifying and reporting sales opportunities within the designated region.
- Supporting business expansion efforts in the assigned area.
- Mastering product knowledge of Advanced Nutrients to effectively respond to customer inquiries.
- Documenting all activities in the CRM system daily.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong market and industry knowledge.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional written, organizational, and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to quickly establish rapport with clients and consumers.
- Understanding of sales processes and dynamics.
- Capable of delivering effective sales presentations.
- Excellent active listening abilities.
- Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced work environment.
- Experience working independently and remotely.
- Self-motivated and focused in a fully remote setting.
- Comfortable with changes and new systems.
This position involves extensive local travel, potentially exceeding 150 miles daily; work is primarily conducted at client locations, with business activities expected to occur on the road.
- Must possess a valid state driver's license, proof of car insurance, and a reliable vehicle.- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with CRM systems preferred.
- Proficiency with a smartphone.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Compensation:
$55,000/year plus commission
Location:
New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, DC, Delaware, Virginia.
