Job Summary

Bloomberg Industry Group is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Mid-Market Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business and increasing revenue by owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal close to renewal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Sales Process: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, including discovery, value demonstration, proposal delivery, negotiations, and close.
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at both prospective and current clients, gaining insights into their overall business and business needs.
  • Renewal Process: Lead the renewal process, including communications, proposal delivery, negotiations, and close, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Client Service: Serve as the single face to the client, facilitating support from other internal resources as needed, to provide world-class service and support.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate closely with Client Service Partners to identify additional sales and growth opportunities and develop overall territory and account-specific strategies.
  • Product Expertise: Develop expertise around all products sold and conduct demonstrations to clients to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Forecasting: Provide monthly forecasting and accurately predict sales revenue to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Prospecting: Prospect accounts for both new sales and cross-sell opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • CRM Management: Work within CRM to document sales activities and pipeline to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Requirements
  • Market Knowledge: Knowledge of assigned market, including law firms, tax & accounting, and corporations.
  • Account Management: Proven ability to prioritize accounts and manage multiple projects and activities to meet business objectives and deadlines.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Travel: Minimal travel as needed.
  • Sales Experience: Experience selling B2B products and proficiency in CRM.
Education and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree with coursework in business, marketing, sales, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years in a sales associate/business development role in a business environment, comparable to Bloomberg Industry Group.
  • Sales Aptitude: Demonstrated aptitude to navigate a sales opportunity from prospecting to close.
