Job Summary

Bloomberg Industry Group is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business and increasing revenue to current and prospective clients by owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal close to renewal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Sales Process: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, including discovery, value demonstration, proposal delivery, negotiations, and close.
  • Build Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders at both prospective and current clients, gaining insights into their overall business and business needs.
  • Renewal Process: Lead the renewal process, including communications, proposal delivery, negotiations, and close, to ensure client retention and growth.
  • Client Service: Serve as the single face to the client, facilitating support from other internal resources as needed.
  • Sales and Growth: Collaborate closely with Client Service Partners to identify additional sales and growth opportunities and provide world-class service to existing clients.
  • Client Engagement: Drive client engagement throughout the sales life cycle, including regular client check-ins for account health checks.
  • Territory and Account Strategies: Develop overall territory and account-specific strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Product Expertise: Build expertise around all products sold and conduct demonstrations to clients.
  • Forecasting and Prospecting: Provide monthly forecasting and accurately predict sales revenue, while prospecting accounts for new sales and cross-sell opportunities.
  • CRM Management: Work within CRM to document sales activities and pipeline.
Requirements
  • Market Knowledge: Knowledge of assigned market, including law firms, tax & accounting, and corporations.
  • Account Management: Proven ability to prioritize accounts and manage multiple projects and activities to meet business objectives and deadlines.
  • Analytical and Interpersonal Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Travel: Minimal travel as needed.
  • Sales Experience: Experience selling B2B products.
  • CRM Proficiency: CRM proficiency.
Education and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree with coursework in business, marketing, sales, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years in a sales associate/business development role in a business environment, comparable to Bloomberg Industry Group.
  • Aptitude: Demonstrated aptitude to navigate a sales opportunity from prospecting to close.
  • Market Knowledge: Knowledge of assigned market (e.g. law firms, tax & accounting, corporations) preferred.
