Key Responsibilities

As the Project Coordinator, you will:

  • Oversee the implementation of sensor systems at the shipyard.
  • Develop strategies for transitioning from outdated systems to advanced solutions.
  • Collaborate with government and subcontractor teams to prepare and adjust installation schedules.
  • Conduct thorough site design evaluations and propose installation alternatives.
  • Provide in-depth analysis and recommendations for enhancements and optimizations.
  • Gather and assess project data to inform the program management team of potential issues and solutions.
  • Conduct site assessments during the planning phase.
  • Advise on necessary infrastructure improvements for successful system deployment.
  • Manage daily operations with a diverse team of subcontractor experts.
  • Facilitate regular updates with stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Ensure adherence to the established installation timeline.
  • Report daily progress to the Program Management Team.
  • Identify challenges, recommend corrective measures, and mitigate project risks.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in initiating and managing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Proven ability to provide strategic advice and technical support to installation teams.
  • Strong collaboration skills with various stakeholders, including military and government entities.
  • Familiarity with sensor technology and shipyard operations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and subcontractors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex tasks efficiently.
  • Active security clearance required; applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Navy shipyard automation.
  • Knowledge of naval shipyard operations.
  • Background in industrial operations.
  • Experience with RFID technology installation.
