Real Estate Operations Manager (Flexible Hybrid)
Location: South San Francisco, CA
Job Function: Asset Services
Employment Status: Regular, Full-Time, Exempt
As an essential member of our Asset Services division, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the success of our tenants and their innovative pursuits by delivering exceptional services, supporting our facilities team, and collaborating with building personnel and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily property management activities, including property inspections, building operations, and tenant relations.
- Manage facilities maintenance, tenant improvements, and capital projects, ensuring adherence to maintenance schedules, timelines, and budgets.
- Supervise third-party vendors, including building engineers and on-site contractors.
- Engage in the financial management of the portfolio, encompassing accounting, financial reporting, reconciliation of financial statements, rent collection, and budget development.
- Participate in the setup of property operations, including back-of-house operations and oversight of major building equipment commissioning.
- Foster relationships with tenants, addressing their concerns and requests promptly.
- Attend tenant engagement and industry-related events.
- Guide and mentor the property management team.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in property management or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Technical knowledge of building and property operations is required, with experience in the full life cycle of building management being a plus.
- Familiarity with real estate proprietary software is advantageous.
- Experience with technical applications in commercial building systems is preferred.
The anticipated salary range for this role is $100,000 to $145,000 USD annually, in addition to an annual discretionary bonus. This range is an estimate, and actual compensation may vary based on various factors, including individual knowledge, experience, education, qualifications, skills, job location, and the company's compensation practices.
