Key Responsibilities:


The Grants and Contracts Administrator plays a crucial role in the financial oversight of grant projects by developing grant budgets within the hospital's financial framework and scrutinizing grant activities to ensure that post-award expenditures align with the initial funding agreements.

This position also entails the preparation and submission of quarterly financial reports to funding organizations, as well as managing all financial components of the grant program. The Grants and Contracts Administrator will provide leadership and direction during meetings and in correspondence with the Principal Investigator, funding agencies, and external auditors.


Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.

At least five (5) years of progressive experience in grants accounting is highly desirable, particularly with a focus on post-award financial analysis.

Familiarity with restricted fund accounting principles, practices, and standards is essential. The ability to offer technical guidance and insights to both staff and management regarding grants is required. Strong analytical and computer skills are necessary, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree on a year-for-year basis.
