Role Summary

As an Oracle PPM Specialist, you will leverage your extensive experience in Oracle ERP Cloud to guide and support businesses in the implementation of Oracle Project Portfolio Management solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing project management processes and ensuring effective resource allocation.

Key Qualifications
  • Over 10 years of robust experience as an Oracle ERP Cloud Consultant, specializing in Oracle Project Portfolio Management.
  • Proficient in various aspects of project management including:
    • Planning, Scheduling, and Forecasting
    • Cost Management and Control
    • Billing and Revenue Management
    • Grant Management
    • Resource Management
  • Experience in conducting requirements analysis, system design, and integration activities.
  • Strong analytical skills with a knack for problem-solving and proposing effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and training delivery.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud upgrades or migrations is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and web services is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and implementation support for Oracle PPM at client organizations.
  • Focus on Grant Management, Project Contingency, and Resource Management modules to enhance Capital Project Accounting systems.
  • Lead the implementation of Oracle PPM modules by collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and customize solutions accordingly.
  • Conduct thorough requirements-gathering sessions to identify objectives and process improvements.
  • Document and analyze requirements to create a comprehensive solution design.
  • Ensure system configurations align with industry best practices.
  • Work with technical teams to facilitate seamless integration of Oracle PPM with other enterprise systems.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality and performance.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing and provide support for issue resolution.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users to promote effective use of Oracle PPM modules.
  • Offer ongoing support and address user inquiries promptly.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in project management and procurement.
