Key Responsibilities:


The primary role of the Grants and Contracts Administrator is to develop and oversee grant budgets within the financial framework of the hospital, while meticulously analyzing grant activities to ensure that expenditures post-award align with the initial funding agreements.

This position also entails the preparation and submission of quarterly financial reports to funding agencies, as well as leading all fiscal components of the grant program. This includes providing strategic leadership and support during meetings and in communications with the Principal Investigator, funding bodies, and external auditors.


Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is essential.

At least five (5) years of relevant experience in grants accounting is preferred, particularly with a focus on post-award financial analysis.

Familiarity with restricted fund accounting principles, procedures, and standards is mandatory. The ability to offer technical guidance and information to both staff and management regarding grants is crucial. Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in computer skills are required. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree on a year-for-year basis.
