Position Overview

The Production Assembly Technician, Consumables is tasked with:
  • Assembling cassettes utilized by Engineering, Development, Clinical Studies, and sales teams.
  • Adhering to approved cGMP manufacturing protocols and maintaining accurate records in compliance with the company’s Quality System.
  • Providing constructive feedback on processes to ensure continuous improvement by identifying variances in components, assemblies, tools, fixtures, or procedural steps.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with fellow assembly technicians daily to support integration testing, manual instruction development, and production process enhancements, all aimed at maintaining quality standards.
  • Engage in hands-on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of system builds and rework tasks.
  • Follow documented procedures meticulously and uphold quality data integrity.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within work areas.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Handle materials properly, including labeling and disposal of hazardous substances.
  • Share expertise and train colleagues and new hires.
  • Establish effective working relationships with other departments to facilitate communication and knowledge transfer.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Preferred: Associate's Degree in technical electronics or mechanical field.
  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Over one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Demands
  • Frequent standing and stooping.
  • Occasional bending, climbing, sitting, kneeling, and lifting of at least 40 lbs.
Travel Requirements
  • No travel required.
