Job Overview:


We welcome candidates from the printing industry who are eager to transition into a Quality Technician role, even if they lack direct quality experience.

The working hours are from 6 AM to 2:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities of the Print Quality Technician:
- Collaborate with the Operations team.
- Conduct Quality Assurance checks, including Press Check, Seaming Check, and Flexible Packaging Check at the start of each job.
- Perform random quality checks to ensure products meet specifications throughout production.
- Familiarize yourself with all production materials and documentation.
- Operate and comprehend all quality testing equipment.
- Create folding standards, flat standards, and sample labels for clients.
- Assist in maintaining customer standards in both the lab and Account Management areas.
- Inform the Quality Manager/Operations of any issues affecting sign-off.
- Report any problems or hazards to management.
- Be prepared to work reasonable overtime, including Saturdays, as production demands.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Print Quality Technician:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Flexible Packaging and printing is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with technology proficiency.
- Industry certifications such as SQF are advantageous (1 year preferred).
- Proficient in using both metric and standard measuring tools.
- Ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.
- Understand the significance of confidentiality.
- Collaborate effectively with management and operations.
- Suggest process improvements in accordance with established procedures.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality are critical. Quality Assurance is essential for ensuring all finished products meet quality standards.
- Basic understanding of common Quality Systems and problem-solving methodologies.
- Required computer and data entry skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
- Familiarity with the X-Rite Color Management System is necessary.
- Must be capable of bending, stooping, squatting, grasping, and reaching frequently.
- Ability to perform well under deadlines while meeting quality standards.
- Detail-oriented with excellent quality-driven work habits.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
