Position Overview

Panek Precision, a leading manufacturer in the automotive sector, is currently in search of a skilled Gage Technician. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate all gages and testing instruments in accordance with NIST standards.
  • Assess measurement system reliability, analyze results, and document findings.
  • Maintain a systematic work environment, including gage records and documentation for gages checked in and out.
  • Coordinate with vendors for the return and repair of equipment, and manage the disposal of substandard gages.
  • Record, update, and document quality data effectively.
  • Analyze data to determine production disposition based on customer requirements.
  • Adhere to and enforce quality assurance policies and procedures, reporting necessary changes.
  • Prepare for PPAP, conduct setup and start-up, and perform in-process and final audit inspections.
  • Contribute to team and company objectives by promoting continuous improvement and collaborating with various departments.
  • Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
