Job Overview:


We welcome candidates from the Printing Industry who are eager to transition into a Quality Technician role, even if they lack direct Quality experience.

Work hours are from 6 AM to 2:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Operations team.
- Conduct Quality Assurance checks including Press Check, Seaming Check, and Flexible Packaging Check at the start of each job.
- Perform random checks to ensure product compliance throughout production.
- Familiarize yourself with all production materials and documentation.
- Operate and understand quality testing equipment.
- Create folding standards, flat standards, and sample labels for clients.
- Assist in maintaining customer standards in both laboratory and Account Management areas.
- Alert the Quality Manager/Operations team of any issues that may hinder sign-off.
- Report any problems or hazards to supervisors.
- Be prepared to work reasonable overtime, including weekends, as production demands.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Flexible Packaging and printing is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in technology.
- Industry certifications such as SQF are advantageous.
- Proficient in using both metric and standard measuring tools.
- Ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.
- Understand the importance of confidentiality.
- Collaborate effectively with management and operations teams.
- Propose process improvements as per established procedures.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality are crucial.
- Familiarity with common Quality Systems and problem-solving methodologies.
- Required computer and data entry skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
- Experience with the X-Rite Color Management System is a plus.
- Must be capable of bending, stooping, squatting, grasping, and reaching frequently.
- Ability to perform under tight deadlines while meeting quality standards.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality work habits.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.

- Must be eligible to work in the United States without restrictions.
