Position Overview

The E-commerce Sales Manager at Commerce Pundit plays a crucial role in cultivating a high-achieving sales environment while strategically aligning team capabilities with the organization's growth objectives. This position entails recruiting and nurturing top-tier talent, utilizing data-driven insights to refine IT and digital sales strategies, and reinforcing our core values to enhance Commerce Pundit's brand image. The primary aim is to position our digital offerings, including e-commerce platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, Magento, custom IT solutions, and digital marketing services like PPC, SEO, and social media, as the preferred choice for businesses.

As a leader in establishing and maintaining robust client relationships, the E-commerce Sales Manager will be responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and developing a sales team. They will ensure the effective execution of our sales strategy, oversee operational functions, and guarantee adherence to company policies. This role is essential in delivering an outstanding client experience that fosters increased sales, profitability, and enduring customer loyalty.

Qualifications

Education:

  • An associate degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Client Acquisition: Spearhead initiatives to attract new clients, broadening the company's portfolio and market reach.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Design and standardize the sales process to ensure uniformity and efficiency across the team.
  • Market Strategy Development: Research, plan, and execute innovative go-to-market strategies to penetrate new markets and stimulate growth.
  • Lead Management: Oversee the complete sales cycle, from closing leads to nurturing them throughout the sales journey.
  • Client Needs Analysis: Assess client requirements and provide customized solutions that align with their business goals.
  • Solution Presentation: Organize and deliver compelling proof of concept demonstrations that address client challenges.
  • Strategic Goal Setting: Think strategically to establish objectives that resonate with the company's vision and promote business growth.
  • Proposal Creation: Develop comprehensive quotes and proposals for potential clients, ensuring all tasks are monitored and managed.
  • RFP Management: Oversee the creation, processing, and documentation of RFPs, RFQs, and POCs for clients.
  • Team Leadership: Set ambitious targets for the business development team and devise strategies to achieve them.
  • Industry Networking: Identify and participate in key conferences and industry events to cultivate relationships and explore new opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Development: Build and expand corporate client relationships through strategic networking and marketing efforts.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations that effectively showcase products, services, and solutions to clients.
  • Client Requirement Evaluation: Analyze client business needs to assess the suitability of proposed products and solutions.
  • Technical Liaison: Address technical inquiries from clients and collaborate with technical teams to ensure effective solution delivery.

Work Schedule Expectations

  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, sales conferences, and industry events.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Background in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in IT, Analytics, or Consulting sectors.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Expertise in Bid Management and Pre-sales processes, with a proven record of delivering high-quality proposals.
  • Proficient in creating visually engaging PowerPoint presentations.
  • In-depth understanding of Market Analytics, Intelligence, and specific industry knowledge.
  • Strong familiarity with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and digital marketing services.
  • Proven success in acquiring new clients and driving business development.
  • Ability to work independently, manage project placements, and meet revenue targets.
  • Utilize existing relationships to unlock new business opportunities.
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
