Key Responsibilities:
As a Configuration Management Systems Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Creating comprehensive configuration and data management project plans that adhere to established guidelines.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures related to configuration management.
  • Identifying training needs for current and future configuration management tools.
  • Developing training materials and user guides to facilitate effective tool utilization across various projects.
  • Promoting best practices and encouraging their adoption across engineering initiatives.
  • Acting as a technical consultant for engineering projects, providing expertise in all facets of configuration and data management.
  • Performing additional duties as necessary to support project goals.

Qualifications:

Required:
- A bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and revisions.
- Demonstrated experience in configuration and document control across multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for conveying technical concepts.

Preferred:
- A degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution, along with five years of applicable experience in configuration and data management.
- Familiarity with Windchill product suite.
- Previous experience with documentation processes in a technical environment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of hardware configuration management practices.
