We are seeking a talented Business Development Representative to join our team at Wind River Payments. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through referrals, third-party relationships, and self-sourced leads.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B sales, with experience selling intangibles and a solid understanding of prospecting, cold calling, and lead generation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take their sales career to the next level, with a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary and uncapped commissions, with 1st year targeted earnings of $70-80k+ and 2nd year target $110-120k+

In this role, you will work closely with our referral partners, third-party relationships, and internal stakeholders to identify and pursue new business opportunities. You will also be responsible for qualifying opportunities to maximize leads and convert those leads to closed sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through referrals from assigned referral partners, third-party relationships, and self-sourced leads
  • Qualify opportunities to maximize leads and convert those leads to closed sales
  • Employ a consultative sales approach to uncover and solve for customer needs
  • Follow established sales processes and documentation standards
  • Contribute to development of marketing plans in assigned market/s

Requirements:

  • Equivalent of 4-year degree with 2 years in B2B sales experience
  • Record of success selling intangibles
  • Solid experience with prospecting, cold calling, and lead generation
  • Knowledge of sales practices, principles, and processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
