Job Summary

Venturi Supply, a leading independent value-added PVF distribution business, seeks a seasoned Director of Human Resources to drive strategic HR initiatives and support the company's growth. As a trusted advisor to the CHRO and executive leadership, this role will oversee HR operations, develop and implement policies, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance on HR matters, including compensation, benefits, organizational structure, and employee development.
  • Collaborate with CHRO and executive leadership to define the organization's long-term mission and goals.
  • Lead the human resource management team and assist with resolving employee relations, organizational structure, compensation, and benefits questions and concerns.
  • Oversee the company's benefit and payroll department, ensuring accurate and competitive benefits, compensation, and payroll programs.
  • Develop and administer bonus programs, ensuring proper communication and administration.
  • Work closely with leadership on critical and sensitive employee or organizational matters, including employee relations, coaching, and HR guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of human resource management experience, with strategic, talent management, and business development experience highly preferred.
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to support executive leadership in crafting communication.
  • Ability to think strategically while still willing to roll up their sleeves to perform work and develop actionable plans.
  • Trusted professional presence with the highest level of confidential information.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Strong math skills, computer proficiency, and MS Office (intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred).

This is an onsite position, 5 days a week, in Phoenix, AZ.
