Human Resources Specialist

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and participating in various human resources functions, including recruitment, classification, test development, employee programs, and benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Conduct classification and compensation studies to ensure fairness and equity
- Design and administer employee programs to promote engagement and retention
- Manage employee benefits and ensure compliance with state regulations
- Provide expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters to management and employees
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or Public Administration, or a related field
- Two years of professional HR experience or four years of paraprofessional HR experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
