SPA's Sea Land Air (SLA) Division caters to a diverse array of national security government clients, including various branches of the military and international defense organizations.

Our primary aim is to furnish timely, objective, and analytical evaluations that encompass the policy, operational, technical, programmatic, and acquisition dimensions of our clients' challenges.

By leveraging both specialized and cross-disciplinary expertise, the SLA Division serves as a trusted advisor to senior decision-makers, excelling in delivering data-driven analytical insights, systems engineering, strategies, and plans that address both current and emerging national security challenges.

Position Summary:
SPA is actively seeking a Program Analyst to support the governance team associated with a significant international defense initiative.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Program Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the integrated efforts of a trilateral program focused on advanced submarine initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing innovative processes and methodologies for effective trilateral program management.
  • Facilitating and organizing high-level trilateral governance meetings.
  • Tracking and managing critical action items.
  • Monitoring program progress and acquisition activities.
  • Coordinating initiatives and actions across the program.
  • Creating and implementing knowledge management systems to centralize and streamline information access.

Information managed will include archiving key decisions, technical baselines, resource allocations, staffing, and lessons learned across various classification levels.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in international relations, political science, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, complemented by high emotional intelligence.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a background in process improvement.
  • Experience in a government setting, whether as a civilian, contractor, or military personnel.
  • Proficiency in knowledge management and data visualization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Current DoD SECRET clearance, with the ability to maintain it throughout employment.
Desired:
  • Experience in supporting submarine programs; DAWIA certification is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with international/FMS programs.
  • Knowledge of Navy requirements and program office processes.
  • Experience in process improvement within a new organizational context.
