Technology Security Program Analyst

As a Program Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of Technology Security and Foreign Disclosure (TSFD) requirements. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring compliance with export control regulations within the Department of Defense.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, your typical work assignments may include the following:
- Providing specialized support to the execution of TSFD requirements and facilitating export control compliance initiatives.
- Assisting the Principal Disclosure Authority (PDA) by managing sensitive cases within the National Disclosure Policy System (NDPS) and preparing for monthly National Disclosure Policy Committee (NDPC) meetings.
- Developing and reviewing disclosure documentation to support acquisition programs directed or managed by the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).
- Preparing compliance-related documentation, including validation of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) exemptions and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA).
- Tracking TSFD and export control compliance actions to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Offering recommendations on high-interest transactions involving international agreements, TSFD, and export control compliance policy based on thorough analysis and coordination with various departments.
- Participating in interagency processes related to international agreements, TSFD, and export control.
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following conditions:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must be registered or exempt from Selective Service if male and born after a certain date.
- May be required to complete a probationary/trial period successfully.
- Must maintain a Special Sensitive (TS/SCI) security clearance.
- This position may involve occasional travel.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) grade level in federal service, demonstrating the ability to:
- Provide expert support in implementing TSFD requirements and export control compliance.
- Coordinate sensitive cases for the PDA and prepare documentation for NDPC meetings.
- Develop disclosure documentation and conduct TSFD reviews for acquisition programs.
Additional Information
Experience gained through volunteer work or National Service programs is also considered valuable. All qualifying experience will be credited, including unpaid roles.
